Fallout 76: Where To Find Bolton Greens (And What To Do When You’re There)

Whether tracking down Holiday Scorched, uncovering the entire map of Appalachia, or seeking out resources for your next crafting project, the world of Fallout 76 offers plenty of points of interest that prove worthwhile. One such POI is Bolton Greens. It’s a former private school for the elite of Appalachia, with state-of-the-art facilities that, unfortunately, couldn’t stop a nuclear bomb.

The bones of the school remain relatively intact, allowing you to sift through the rubble for crafting materials, fight off Scorched, and interact with a few long-forgotten robots like Billingsley.

Here is where to find Bolton Greens in Fallout 76!

Bolton Greens is on the eastern edge of The Forest, between Arktos Pharma and Atlas Observatory. It’s right at the fork on the road to Monongha Power Plant and the Savage Divide.

You would be forgiven for initially missing this point of interest, as it’s tucked into a hillside and relatively far from any other POI. The space north, east, and west of Bolton Greens is made up of forest, hills, and the occasional bit of road; otherwise, it’s an empty landscape with little else to sustain your interest.

But during the Holiday Scorched Event, Bolton Greens has become a bustling hub for players. It’s one of the primary spawns of Festive Scorched, which means everyone in the server is likely rotating between Bolton Greens and a handful of other POI to farm the creatures for Holiday Gifts.

As you explore Bolton Greens, you will inevitably stumble upon countless Scorched. They’re immediately hostile. But other inhabitants of the interior and grounds include Billingsley, Waiter Alfred, Waiter Bernard, Waiter Clifford, Waiter Desmond, and Water Elwood—robots left behind after the bombs fell.

But more importantly for you, there’s plenty of notable loot at Bolton Greens including Skill Magazines, Armor and Weapon mods, and Cooking Recipes. You can also find a Stealth Boy in a glass display case on the second floor. There are also a variety of Vault-Tec Bobbleheads you can score

Vault-Tec Bobblehead locations

  • Near the playground, inside the baby stroller.
  • On the roof of the school, by the small set of stairs.
  • On the school’s first floor, behind the locked door in the kitchen.
  • On the second floor, near the balcony railing.
  • In the bedroom upstairs, in the corner on the round table.

Bolton Greens is a popular location to tackle daily and weekly challenges, which often have you killing Scorched. Though randomized, the loot you’ll find doesn’t impress late-game players. Either way, knowing its location for various events and challenges is wise!
