The Third Pirate Code is a part of The Pirates of the Caribbean Cursed Sails limited-time battle pass. So, on top of earning XP that can be used to unlock items in the normal battle pass, you’ll also unlock Cursed Gold, which will further The Pirates of the Caribbean battle pass. It’s also worth pointing out that each quest you complete is worth 5K XP. This guide will detail everything you need to know about completing the Second Pirate Code.
Fortnite’s Pirate Code Three
- Don’t waste your shot – Visit Shipwreck Shallows and eliminate an opponent in a single match (2)
- We were compelled by greed – Eliminate opponents while carrying a Medallion
- No survivors… then where do the stories come from? – Listen to Pirate Tales from different pirates (4)
- It’s not getting to the land of the dead that is the problem. – Reboot, Revive, or Eliminate in the Underworld (1)
- Who’s left to tell the tales? – Read “Dead Men’s Tales” Book
Don’t waste your shot
To complete this quest you’ll need to travel to the Shipwreck Shallows and kill another player. We recommend dropping down straight at Shipwreck Shallows. This area is currently a hot drop, so if you’re fast enough, you can kill another player the second you drop down.
We were compelled by greed
To wrap up this quest, you’ll need to take out enemies while carrying a Medallion. We recommend landing at Brutal Beach to complete this quest. This area is far enough from most places, and players tend to stay away from it. A boss also spawns there. Once you land, kill the boss and pick up his Medallion. After that, kill three of his minions, and you’ll complete the quest.
No survivors…then where do the stories come from?
You’ll need to talk to four pirates on the map to complete this quest. You don’t need to talk to them all in one game, so don’t worry about trying to complete it in one go. Below is a picture of where all four pirates can be found.
It’s not getting to the land of the dead that is the problem
This is a quest you can easily complete by playing with a friend. Once the two of you get to the Underworld, have your friend fall from a high place that’ll bring them down. The second that happens, revive them, and you’ll complete the quest.
Who’s left to tell the tales?
The “Dead Men’s Tales” book can be found in the middle of The Underworld and Grim Gate by the river. When you find it, open it up and read through the book, and once you put it down, you’ll complete the quest.
