As we know, the Trials series of frustration-based and physics-based motocross stunt games is getting two fresh entries in the near future. One of them, Trials Frontier, will be a mobile game. Let’s talk about that one for a bit.
Flying through obstacle-filled levels on a motorcycle is far from the only thing that Frontier will bring to the table. There’s also, for instance, a village that you can build and expand. A world map you can explore. A storyline. Upgrades for your rider and your bike. Quests. Oh, and leaderboards. Let’s not forget those. There’s a little bit of all that in the trailer above.
Trials Frontier hits smartphones and tablets as a freemium title early next year. If you decide to get it, make sure to have a stress ball or something. Broken iPhones are expensive to replace.

How does it control though? Trials is obviously a game that requires extremely precise control, so I’m pretty sceptical that touch or motion controls can re-create the experience without being a inaccurate and frustrating exercise.
Yeah you really need a control pad for this, lucky I can plug one into my tablet.
